Faraone Casa d’Aste ready for the November the 20th auction.
Second annual appointment for Faraone Casa d’Aste will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan. The auction house will present an accurate selection of jewels and watches of the XX century, in front of a public of bidders consisting of dealers, foreign collectors but also, considering the attendance more than doubled at the latest auction of May, private individuals.
Optimistic expectations for this forthcoming event, thanks to the exceptional value and high level of manufacturing of the presented lots, the auction house will try to sell more than 80% of the auctioned pieces, in order to obtain the same result of the previous auctions.
A bet for now always won by Faraone casa d'Aste presenting a selection of over 240 lots of high prestige and value, some of which can be purchased even with a budget usually dedicated to Christmas gifts but with a higher perceived feeling.
Jewellery of iconic brands such as Cartier, Tiffany, Bulgari, Buccellati, Boucheron and of course Faraone, but also anonymous masterpieces such as the Art Deco style diamond collier with brilliant cut diamonds for a total of 25 ct with a central pendant diamond, convertible into a brooch in two versions, with or without pendant.
A Chopard collier boasting a 22 ct drop diamond, removable, and brilliant cut diamond of about 60ct in total; a bracelet, still Art Decò signed by Oscar Heyman, dated 1925, and beaten by Christie’s in the 90's for $ 400,000.
Among the most significant lots are also a pair of white gold earrings with a 15ct brilliant cut diamond and two 13mm natural pearls, a refined Cartier London bracelet with a pearl and torchonin platinum and diamonds.
Not only jewels but also cufflinks, Villa, Sabbadini and Faraone, and a selection of iconic watches such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin; among them a rare Audemar Piguet“squelette”pocket watch of the 70s in which the movement is enclosed by two sapphire glasses.
