Italian high-end jewelry brand Faraone, established in 1860, was the one to launch Tiffany&Co's story. Back in 1989 Faraone signed an exclusive partnership with T&Co, at the time quite unknown in Europe; partnership which lasted till 2001 when the two brands undertook different courses. Aficionados intrigued by the Faraone brand were and still are members of various noble families such as the Queen Margherita of Savoy, and the Monegasque royal family, more recently Charlotte Casiraghi, as well as classic stars of opera and cinema Maria Callas, Anna Magnani, Ava Gardner and Ingrid Bergman. The company had a revamp and was relaunched in 2012, with a new space and a new product philosophy, introduced by young and talented CEO Vittoria Bianchi. the Maison boasts a collection of prêt-à-porter jewelry, “Via Montenapoleone”, including “Sfera”, “Campanelle” and “F di Faraone” lines. A product line created for a younger clientele or those who simply fall in love with an icon. A “more relaxed” and lighter line in terms of weight, structure and material, but one still finished to the absolute highest standards. The more traditional haute joaillerie line boasts true works of wearable art. The “One of a Kind ” collection items, are unique and timeless treasures embodying the savoir-faire of centuries of history.The prestigious auction house, Christie’s, several times put under the hammer pieces of this collection in front of the most exclusive clientele, often coming to the Milanese showroom, in Via Montenapoleone 9.
