DOM EDIZIONI
WHEN EVEN FURNITURE HAS A SOUL
DOM HOME PHILOSOPHY
“Design is something that is borninside of you, it fixes itself to paper and becomes a mental projectionat the same time”.
Behind every design lies DOM HOME Philosophy creator Domenico Mula’s creative dynamism, expressed through purity of forms, attention to detail, and innovation. A philosophy which, to quote Baudelaire, can be summarized in luxury, calm, and voluptuosness.
Dom Edizioni is a project born with the purpose of sharing the major Italian heritage: the good taste. Everyday we work in order to realise the desires of whom intends to make his own spaces representative, unique and inimitable. DOM Edizioni’s collection borns from combinations that are characterised by a great equilibrium and character. This allows us to offer a design proposal which is sought after and never banal, both for residential and Hospitality.
The creative process, which is meticulously followed by our Art Director Domenico Mula, takes form through the ability and the knowledge of the best Italian artisans who are able to make every element of our design proposal unique and immediately recognisable
“When even furniture has a soul to it, the design is its vital breath”.
Complying with this axiom, Domenico Mula “sees” by drawing. With the talent of whom, with a few strokes, materializes ideas (be it objects or whole fittings) having already the perception of the finished result.
A mental projection that, in spite of the most advanced technological solutions, he fixes on the paper simply through the “old lead” by Faber Castell, to sharpen by hand. From the projection to the design, from the design to the realisation 100% made in Italy, that brings out the skill and knowledge of the craftsmen
he works with, checking every manufacturing stage. Each realisation is a direct expression of DOM Home Philosophy: purity of lines, precious details and originality of contents.
Cardinal points and guiding lines that set up new trends, new tastes. Outlining the unmistakable philosophy of Domenico Mula, that is crystallized in these three noble imperatives: luxury, calm and voluptuousness.
