Over 300 jewels at the auction of Faraone Casa d’Aste
New Faraone Casa d’Aste event is scheduled for Monday 11 November 2019. Among the prestigious lots at the auction there will be a rare snuffbox from the Russian Imperial Court made by jeweller Bolin and boasting an ivory miniature of the emperor Alexander II with an estimate value of 100.000-150.000 €. It will be followed by a yellow gold and enamels box in featuring the initials of Carlo Alberto of Savoy and the Savoy family crest of the Kingdom of Sardinia probably produced in Turin between 1830 and 1850 (estimate 15,000-20,000 €). Along with them will be under the spotlight a yellow gold cigarette case with a set of cufflinks and yellow gold button studs with sapphires and diamonds (estimate 9,000-13,000 €) belonged to Marlene Dietrich all accompanied by a signed letter.
The event taking place at the Four Seasons Hotels in Milan will be anticipated by 4 days of exposition in the welcoming Chalet, the Christmas installation of the prestigious hotel. Under the hummer of Patrizia di Carrobio, the auctioneer, will stand out platinum en tramblant flower brooch signed Bulgari with drop, navette, round and baguette cut diamonds totalling approx 20ct with an estimated value of 150,000-170,000 €. It will be followed by a platinum ring with a Colombian emerald of 8.81 ct (€ 90,000€ - 100,000); a rare 4.18ct spare no oil Colombian emerald (€ 65,000-75,000); a ring with a 6.53ct pink sapphire (25.000-35.000 €); a ring mounting a 5.50ct no heat Burmese ruby (€ 40,000-50,000).
Among the most representative brands, Buccellati will be the king with 22 lots including a set of earrings and a ring in white gold and diamonds, complete with box and guarantee and a ring in yellow and white gold with a sapphire of about 6ct. A series of iconic Cartier, Pomellato, Vhernier and Webb pieces will follow.
On the wristwatch part, two Rolex GMT Ref.1675 will stand out, one in yellow gold, the other the most classic in stainless steel and watch glass in plastic; a 1975 Rolex Precision with United Arab Emirates personalized dial and stainless steel Rolex Daytona 6265.There will be also a series of interesting lots of fine silverware, including six trays signed Cusi, a samovar with ivory handle, two Cartier decanters and three vases by Venini from the Desert series produced in limited edition.
