It has been the travel watch par excellence for over sixty years due to its ability to monitor multiple time zones at the same time. The new Nereide GMT 39 collection also brings this type of timepiece within the reach of a wider audience thanks to a very attractive list price, as we have always been used to automatic GMTs above 1000 euros.

Nereide GMT 39 takes the best of Venezianico tradition and renews it through a 39 mm 316L surgical stainless steel case, equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, waterproof up to 200 m of depth and sealed by a screw-down crown. The bezel insert is made of durable BK7 optical glass and features an innovative mirror finis in its lower half. This peculiarity is unique to Venezianico GMTs, while the four color variants, teal blue, light anthracite, absolute black and pearl gray, make up an even more captivating collection, thanks to the sunray finish of the dials and the silver and rose gold details.

The finely engraved caseback celebrates the adoption in 1884 of the 24 time-zone system, based on Greenwich Mean Time, through a depiction of the globe complemented by the world's major cities and their respective time zones. This allows the wearer to set the time in a traditional way, thus preserving the charm of a purely mechanical precision instrument. Nereide GMT 39 is therefore designed both for those who are seduced by the allure of one of the most beloved mechanical complications, and for those who want to wear a diving watch with a strong personality.
